Real Support from Therapists Who Get It

Care should feel like it understands you.

At Haven, our therapists are trained to recognize the role identity and lived experience play in mental health, and to provide care that is grounded, affirming, and aligned with who you are.

All Haven Health therapists complete our Care Equity and Identity Training Program designed to support the lived experiences of BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ teens and adults with intention and understanding.

FAQs *

  • Identity-affirming therapy is an approach to care that respects and supports who you are. It means your therapist recognizes the role that identity, culture, and lived experience play in your mental health and does not ask you to minimize or explain those parts of yourself. Instead, those experiences are acknowledged and understood as part of your care.

  • Yes, all of our individual, group therapy and support circles/groups are held virtually, making it easier for you to connect with a Haven Health Verified Therapist from anywhere in Florida.

  • We’re proud to make therapy more accessible by accepting most major insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, Quest Behavioral Health, Anthem EAP, and Ascension SmartHealth.

If you’re using insurance, your exact cost will depend on your plan’s copay or deductible — most clients pay between $0 and $40 per session.

We’ll verify your benefits before you start so there are no surprises, and you can always ask our team to check your coverage for you.

If you prefer to self-pay or don’t have insurance, here are our current rates.

    • Individual Therapy: $115 per session. Sliding scale pricing available.

    • Group Therapy: $60 per session
(Billed as $240–$360 total for a 4–6 week series)

    • Support Circles: Free, donation-based, or low-cost depending on the circle. Support circles are not eligible for insurance reimbursement, as they are non-clinical spaces.

We can also provide a superbill for individual and group therapy sessions — a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Let us know if you'd like to be notified once we’re in-network with your plan.

  • We offer virtual therapy sessions 7 days a week, 8am - 8pm with flexible scheduling to fit your life including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Our goal is to meet you where you are, whether that’s after school, between college classes, or during a quiet moment in your week.

  • We offer individual and group therapy for teens and adults (13+) and group therapy for parents/caregivers/legal guardians.

While we don’t provide traditional family therapy at this time, parents may be invited into a session when clinically appropriate. We also offer support circles - virtual support spaces designed just for caregivers.
